This album is amazing, though the only issue is I don’t really like the backwards part of mind electric. ;-; sorry if that’s mean, but it doesn’t ruin the whole thing for me like, BRUH LISTEN TO WHITE BALL OR DREAM SWEET IN SEA MAJOR, or Isle unto thyself or murders, or labyrinth. C:

This album doesn’t have a bad song. Joe Hawley and crew are musical geniuses. Murders, White Ball, and The Mind Electric are the standouts for me!!

I love Tally Hall, and seeing as Joe Hawley is making music still and had some of the original members of Tally Hall in this is wonderful. A great album would recommend to buy.

A collection of truly amazing and unique songs. My favorite is the mind electric. It uses several creative ways to capture its listeners. Also, listen to the backwards part carefully guys! See if you can hear the voices! There's more to it then it first seems. The piano solos are fabulous as well! Theres tons of different sounds in each song that must've taken forever to make. This project was made by a band called Tally Hall, as a collaborative side project. If you liked these songs, I'd recommend checking out their other stuff as well!

The music isn't bad, certainly not, but there's not really anything that stands out terribly. The Mind Electric is probably the most prominent track, also being the second longest, but half of that length is listening to the song backwards, which for me, lost its novelty about halfway through the first time. The rest of the song is pretty ok, but it spends so much time jumping around trying to be creepy that it loses its value as a song. The one song that has a Japanese title (Reflections on a Cloud I think) is probably my favorite. It's upbeat and really catchy. The rest of the tracks are cool, too, but really nothing to sneeze about, particularly Island Unto Thyself and Time Machine. Dream Sweet in Sea Major is kind of disappointing for its length. About a third of it is the jazzy pop style used in other places throughout the album, but the other two thirds is "creepy" atmospheric effects that don't contribute much to the song. This whole album makes me think of Pink Floyd, but dumbed down a bit. It's not completely pop rock, but it's not completely Floyd's stoner philosophical sound either, so it just hangs out in the limbo between the two. This album feels like the band was finding their sound, and, if they were to release another one, I'm sure a second album would do them well.
