Gary does it again
I don't know how he does it, but Gary Valenciano just continues to release song after song, album after album, of music that truly touches the heart, and Rebirth is another example of this. Previous releases of "Could You Be Messiah?", "Take Me Out of the Dark", "Search and Know", and "Break Me" are examples of songs that have changed and strengthened my beliefs in Faith, and on this latest album, the new arrangement "Letting Go" is no exception. The harmonies and music brought together by Mon Faustino is nothing short of inspiring. The contiunous echo of the lyric "just let go" in rounds near the end of the song gets me everytime. Inasmuch, hands down, for me, "Home" is a record that's an instant classic that ranks up there with the other songs I've mentioned. There have been many times when I go through what the lyrics say, and knowing that not only am I not alone, but that I will never be alone, helps me get through no matter the circumstances. I've only mentioned two songs, but the acoustic version of "Only Hope", "When I Hear You Call", "He Won't Let Go", and a new version of "Natatulog Ba Ang Diyos" are other standouts of Rebirth. God Bless and Thank You Gary for changing my life with your music.
